Oct 28, 2011 Bradley Aycock is the newest addition to the team of attorneys at Life Sciences Law. Bradley holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering and B.S. in Electrical Engineering, magna cum laude, from N.C. State University. He also received his M.S. in Computer Engineering while at N.C. State. Prior to attending law school, Bradley worked as a design engineer at IBM in North Carolina. While at IBM he designed logic for PowerPC microprocessors, specializing in cache functionality. Bradley earned his J.D., with honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law. While at Carolina, Bradley provided counsel to local non-profit organizations as a student attorney in the Community Development Law Clinic, and also accumulated over 100 pro bono service hours. He is a native of North Carolina.

May 5, 2011 Carolina Innovations Seminar
Sheila will be discussing partnering and product development strategies critical to the early stage success of biotech companies. Sheila will be sharing lessons on this topic from her involvement in the growth of Inspiration Biopharmaceuticals. Inspiration was founded in 2004 to address new, improved, and more affordable treatments for hemophilia by two families with children suffering with the disease. Inspiration is currently in clinical studies with an IV recombinant factor IX for the treatment and prevention of bleeding in adults and adolescents with hemophilia B.
