Andrew Shaw focuses his practice on general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities law and venture capital financing transactions. Prior to joining LSL in 2010, Andrew practiced corporate law in the Boston office of McDermott Will & Emery LLP, where he represented private equity and venture capital funds in financings totaling over $200 million in the life sciences, technology and services industries. Andrew also provides advice with respect to other corporate matters including shareholders' agreements, capital markets activities and corporate governance.
Prior to attending law school, Andrew was a corporate paralegal for Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault LLP in Boston, where he assisted on numerous public offerings and venture capital financings. While in law school, Andrew worked at the Vanderbilt University Office of the General Counsel.
A Massachusetts native, Andrew received his B.A. degree in Politics from Wake Forest University, cum laude, and his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he also studied business at the Owen Graduate School of Management. Andrew is admitted to the Massachusetts bar.
